Zijun Lin holds an M.Des in service design from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (2020) and a B.E in industrial design (2018) from Hunan University. Her research topic is the Speculative and Systemic approaches for Services, which is about integrating Speculative and Systemic approaches into Service Design to support service innovation that embeds future and systemic issues.

The purpose of this research is to understand how might the Speculative and systemic approaches can be leveraged to help design (future) services, and how designers need to 'evolve' their capabilities. This research aims to propose a guideline that can clarify and guide the capabilities that need to be enhanced and a meta-process that service designers can use when dealing with future and systemic service design.
