Francesca Mattioli
Researcher
PhD in Design at the Politecnico di Milano, she is involved in the study of design learning and teaching practices through collaborative projects in academic contexts characterised by cultural plurality. Her interests are directed towards the development of collaborative skills through design education in particular in contexts where designer education is driven by project development and therefore hinged on learning by doing.
She collaborates in teaching in the Master of Science in Design & Engineering, the Master of Interaction Design and is a lecturer in the specialised Masters in Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation and Industrial Design for Architecture at POLI.design. Since 2021 she has been collaborating as a research fellow in the project "Doctoral Courses System 4 Design" (DoCS4Design) co-funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme in order to develop an international Network of Excellence among six PhD programmes in design.
