PhD. Vanessa Monna is a Postdoc Fellow Researcher at the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, within the PoliMI DESIS Lab research group. She obtained a PhD on the emerging theme of Civic Design, which she explored to systematise the existing knowledge and build a relevant theoretical framework. She was a Visiting Scholar at the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago. Before her PhD, she collaborated with many national and international institutions as a Fellow Researcher. Vanessa also tutors classes in the BSc in Product Design and in the MSc in Service Design at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano.
