We invite you to participate in the workshop "Promozione del riuso cross border degli high value datasets per la PA: progetti europei" which will be held as part of Milano Digital Week, a digital education and information event, on Monday 14 November 2022 in hybrid mode.

In the framework of the Open Data Directive, the European Commission will adopt an Implementation Act specifying those High Value Datasets (HVD) that public sector organisations will have to make available free of charge, in electronic format, and via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The Open Data Directive currently defines six categories of HVDs, the reuse of which will bring social, economic and environmental benefits: geospatial, earth and environmental observation, meteorological data, statistics, data on companies and their ownership, and mobility.

In this regard, the workshop will present a series of SPOTTED and INTERSTAT projects, co-funded by the Connecting Europe Facility Programme, which are using open data at the city level to implement smart city services, together with two use cases (City of Naples and City of Milan). In addition, the Politecnico di Milano will discuss the possible use of open data in the DIGISER and EasyRights projects. In closing, there will be a discussion on the main concepts addressed.
