Friday, October 7, from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, La Stecca 3, Via De Castillia 26, Milano
We invite you to participate to the exhibition Not only objects filled with objects - Indie magazines for social change, in which some editorial projects of communicative translation of the concept of inequality will be exhibited.
Independent magazines are not just “objects filled with objects”, they constitute a space for cultural mediation and interaction; actively contribute to the production, distribution, transformation, reception, and sedimentation of social themes and practices. They can be real catalysts for social change.
This is the research perspective underlying the eight editorial experiments carried out within the Design Laboratory of Artifacts and Complex Systems (section C1), master's degree course in Communication Design, School of Design, Politecnico di Milano.
The exhibition “Not only objects filled with objects. Indie magazines for social change" returns a research and project path aimed at translating the concept of inequality within different areas of the contemporary social context. The goal is to offer new interpretative hypotheses and new visions in support of new forms of criticism and social activism.
