January 29-30, 2024, Bovisa Campus, Milano
During the days of January 29th and 30th, the kick-off meeting of the "NEUROCLIMA" will take place, a project coordinated by Politecnico di Milano under the scientific guidance of Professor Francesca Rizzo of the Design Department, and granted within the EU's key funding programme for research and innovation Horizon Europe.
NEUROCLIMA aims to promote and support systemic transformations by engaging and raising awareness among citizens regarding climate resilience strategies. The project entails establishing a nervous system between policymakers, public institutions, and citizens through an innovative mixed decision support system that combines artificial intelligence and human capabilities.
This network will enable conducting in-depth research based on monitoring mechanisms aligned with the EU Adaptation Strategy and the Climate Change Adaptation Mission, with the goal of identifying needs, criticalities, expectations, and trends that can influence EU societies, taking into account local and national specificities.
Through this approach, NEUROCLIMA aims to encourage continuous dialogue among stakeholders, contributing to formulating concrete proposals to facilitate the green transition and promote greater trust in institutions.
