The Politecnico di Milano inaugurated its 161st academic year today, Monday 20 November 2023.

The Ceremony, whose guiding theme was Artificial Intelligence, was attended by:

• Donatella Sciuto, Rector of Politecnico di Milano
• Veronica Marrocu, President of the Student Council of Politecnico di Milano
• Mariarosaria Taddeo, Professor of Digital Ethics and Defence Technologies at the University of Oxford
• Roberto Viola, Director General for Digital Policies at the European Commission
• Beppe Sala, Mayor of the Municipality of Milan
• Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardia
• Iliana Ivanova, Commissioner for Innovation Research Culture Education and Youth of the European Commission
